9 Months!

I say it every month, but I can't believe our little angel is 9 months old! (And because I'm behind again...she's actually 9 months and some change!)

Our smiling girl is a joy to be around these days...not that she hasn't always been a joy! She is so happy and loves to play and is really starting to be very playful and interactive. As I was taking her 9 month pictures, she decided she no longer wants to sit down....so that makes things difficult...

She has the sweetest baby giggles and we just love hearing her say "ma ma ma" and "da da da" and everything else! We have quite the talker and it is so much fun! We babble at each other all day every day! Chandler is still sleeping between 12 and 12.5 hours each night and takes two naps a day. Each nap averages around an hour and a half. Thank goodness we have a great sleeper!

Chandler is great about playing solo and keeping herself entertained.

She eats three meals a day, and most are made up of a combination of finger foods and purees. She is doing a great job with picking up her food, but I'm not sure how much actually ends up in her mouth...and stays there! She is very helpful and loves to clear her tray off (onto the floor) when she is finished eating. Her favorite foods right now are cheese, yogurt, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, squash, and the list goes on! Gone are the days of our picky eater!

In celebration of her 9 month birthday, Adam and I took Chandler out to breakfast. We had so much fun! We ate pancakes and watched her stare creepily lovingly at everyone else in the restaurant!

This month also marked the start of crawling! We now have a very mobile baby! She army crawls and likes to rock back and forth on her knees. She isn't pulling up yet...and we are FINE with that! She loves to crawl and roll around on the floor and is an expert at finding what we haven't yet baby-proofed...so I now spend her awake times following her around the house!

Sweet Chandler, your daddy and I love you so very much! You are the best part of our days. We love your sweet smile and your giggles and your "kisses" and hugs. You are still an easy baby and we are so lucky! We are looking forward for a whole slew of "firsts" that are coming up. We can't wait for your first Thanksgiving and Christmas, your first visit with Santa, your first steps, and your first real words. We love you to the moon and back.
